There’s an interesting post on the American website HybridCars.com about the Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries planned for the next generation Toyota Prius. It seems that Toyota won’t now be introducing the batteries until a couple of years into the Prius’ lifespan, around 2011.

Most papers reported with a light tone on the document’s ‘10 car-mandments’, while some forums have been downright disrespectful - one contributor to the American Monkeyfilter website prayed for protection from insanely complex intersections.
