Apologies for sounding negative, but watching DVDs and playing console games in a car are not (in my humble opinion) good ways to entertain children. You can learn so much by looking out of the window at new places, new sites, and the world passing by. Creativity comes from the things you see and experience, and there's no better way than taking in what is around you. Journey games is the best solution. I-spy - as simple as it is - ensures your kids get a good look at what is around them.
