RSS - Revolutionising Secret Stuff?

Here’s an interesting interface between web technology and open government: WhatDoTheyKnow?
It’s an alert system for requests made under the Freedom of Information Act, which allows you to ’subscribe’ to key words or phrases.
A search through the site creates an RSS feed, which keeps you informed of releases of information as and when they occur.
Early days, but there are already some interesting requests, from a list of profane words banned by the BBC to recycling levels in the Winchester district.
Creator fo the service told Boing Boing: “if you live in the UK and want to know whenever anyone has made a Freedom of Information request or got a response mentioning something you’re interested in, you can now get notified immediately.”
“Basically, it’s a cool hack on a good law.”
