There was an interesting piece by Jason Dawe in The Times earlier this week, covering anecdotal evidence that more motorists are running out of fuel and ending up stranded on the roadside.
The likely cause? High (and highly variable) fuel prices, causing motorists to delay filling up as they search around for better deals.
